Artawa is a volunteer run collective. This helps keep things free but also means there’s lots of work to go round to help it run! We will have more information about a formalized list of volunteer tasks. If you choose to come a little earlier to help set up our meetups please do not arrive earlier than 2pm. Here are some things we ALWAYS need help with:

– Setting up the tables in the “island” shape
– Make the coffee
– Heat water for tea
– Set out dishes
– Place snacks
– Take charge of the tunes
– Member sign-in
– Returning tables to their former places at the end
– Washing and putting away dishes / coffee maker
– General tidying

In the future we will be looking for help with:

• Finding accessible venues to showcase artwork
• adding more resources to our website for creatives in the capital
• help with social media and website updates

We can also offer volunteer hours for any of these tasks.
